Observe the 915nm Infrared Invisible Laser

Image
We are often exposed to infrared light, such as near-infrared wavelengths such as 780nm and 808nm, and the naked eye can see a faint red spot. As we all know, lasers like 915nm are invisible wavelength . So how do we detect it? Let's check it now. In the video below, we use a small infrared detection card to convert 915nm invisible light into visible light. The 915nm laser illuminates the observation card and displays a green visible spot.

60W IR Invisible Laser 915nm Strong Laser -- CivilLaser

This time we bring a 915nm high power semiconductor laser . The bottom of the laser module is equipped with a heat sink. Aluminum heat sink and cooling fan can effectively prolong the continuous working time of high-power lasers. There are three working modes of CW/TTL/Analog on the power supply for selection. The power of 60W is very high power, which can instantly ignite the cardboard. Be sure to pay attention to safety when operating, the operator must wear laser protective glasses, and the laser cannot point to other people or other flammable objects. 915nm infrared laser is invisible light, which is invisible to the human eye. Here the laser can easily ignite the cardboard.

915nm IR Diode Laser Coupled Fiber Optic

Usually we often see visible lasers, but few people will test infrared invisible lasers. Today we tested a 915nm infrared laser and its output power of 3000mW. Then when it is coupled through the fiber, what is the output power of the fiber end? Let's check it now. This is 915nm 3W IR semiconductor laser. It couples a pluggable optical fiber . The fiber can be customized. 100μm~1000μm fiber is optional, the coupling efficiency of different fibers will be somewhat different. The larger the core diameter, the higher the coupling efficiency, usually the coupling efficiency is 80%~90 percent. In addition, the fiber length and interface also can be customzied. Here is 1000μm, SMA interface fiber. CivilLaser's solid-state lasers can be customized for fiber-coupled output.  The output power of the laser is adjustable from 0 to 3000mW, which can be adjusted by the knob. It supports 3 working modes, CW/TTL/Analog, switch the working mode on the back of the laser power supply. In TTL/...
